EMBRY-RIDDLE
The Eagles wrap up their final NAIA regular season today with a make-up date against Ave Maria. ERAU is 31-16 overall and 18-9 in Sun Conference action. Embry-Riddle will travel to The Sun Conference Tournament (May 1-5) before returning to Daytona Beach and Sliwa Stadium for the NAIA National Championship Opening Round (May 12-15).

As a team, the Eagles are hitting at a .309 clip with 487 hits, 85 doubles, 25 triples and 15 home runs, driving in 308 runs with a .423 slugging percentage. Enderson Velasquez paces the team with a .406 average on 67 hits, scoring 36 runs and recording 29 RBIs. Liam Goodall has the most hits on the team with 69, including eight doubles, six triples and three long balls. Tobias Moreno is 22-for-27 on the bases and has scored 44 times.

On the mound, the Blue and Gold has a 3.40 ERA in 389.0 innings, atriking out 357 batters and allowing just a .244 batting average against. Stetson Nelson is 6-4 with a 2.01 ERA in 89.1 innings, registering 68 strikeouts with three complete games. Zac Grotz is 6-1 with seven saves and a 0.69 ERA in 52.1 innings of workk, allowing just 29 hits with 62 Ks.

AVE MARIA
Casey Scott wraps up his first season at the helm of the Ave Maria baseball program today as he brings his Gyrene team back to Daytona to make up a rained-out contest back on Feb. 28.

AMU is 21-33 overall and 8-18 in TSC play, having come off a series win over Warner last weekend. Aaron Pigna leads an offense that is hitting .268 with 453 hits and 230 RBIs. Pigna has a .354 batting average with 51 hits, 12 doubles, 27 RBIs and 24 runs scored. Nick Sacchetta has recorded six home runs and 23 RBIs while Ryan Keegan leads the squad with 29 RBIs on 48 hits.

The AMU pitching staff has a 5.32 ERA in 441.1 innings, striking out 352 batters and allowing a .290 batting average against. Ausitn Comesanas is 4-5 with a 4.70 ERA and 47 strikeouts for the Gyrenes.
