The Eagles enter the 2015 Sun Conference Tournament as something other than the No. 1 seed for the first time since the tournament was reestablished in 2009. ERAU, the second-seeded team in the six-team event, has four conference tournament crowns (2009, 2010, 2011, 2013), and one runner-up finish (2014).

ERAU is hitting .312 as a team, led by Enderson Velasquez's .405 average on 68 hits. Liam Goodall is hitting .393 with 72 hits, 54 RBIs and 44 runs while Tobias Moreno has a .376 batting average on 65 hits with 45 runs scored and 23 stolen bases.

On the mound, the Eagles have a 3.32 ERA and .243 opponent batting average. ERAU has 371 strikeouts while issuing just 156 walks in 398.0 innings of work. Stetson Nelson has a 7-4 record and 1.87 ERA with three complete games and 96.1 innings, striking out 80 batters. Zac Grotz is 6-1 with seven saves and a 0.69 ERA in 52.1 innings.

USCB
The Sand Sharks are coming back to the conference tournament after a year hiatus, finishing this season in fifth place in the league standings. USCB posted a 32-19 overall record and 15-12 mark in conference play.

TSC Player of the Year candidate Ashly Morris leads the Sand Sharks in nearly every offensive category, hitting .405 with 85 hits, 17 doubles, five triples, eight home runs, 56 RBIs, 60 runs and 13 stolen bases. Johnny Cole has 61 hits, 18 doubles, seven homers and 47 walks for USCB.

Junior Delatorre and Jamie Strock combine for a nice 1-2 punch on the mound, with Delatorre posting a 7-3 mark with a 3.15 ERA in 80 IP while Strock is 6-5 with a 3.53 ERA in 81.2 innings of work.

The Eagles and Sand Sharks are familiar foes at the league tournament, meeting six times since 2009 with the Eagles going 5-1 in those games.
