DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Embry-Riddle men's and women's cross country Head Coach Mike Rosolino has announced the 2016 schedule for his Eagle runners. The Blue and Gold will race in five meets beginning Sept. 10 at the Sunshine State Pre-Conference Meet and concluding with the Oct. 22 Sand Shark Invitational.

The SSC Pre-Conference meet and NCAA II Pre-Nationals meet, along with the annual Asics Embry-Riddle Classic highlight the season slate for the Eagles. Also on the docket is the Mountain Dew Invitational, hosted by the University of Florida on Sept. 24.

In 2015 the Eagle men had three top-five finishes, including a team title at the Asics Embry-Riddle Classic, while the Eagle women collected five top-three finishes, including team titles at the Moccasin Invitational, the Florida State Invitational and Asics Embry-Riddle Classic.

Embry-Riddle is in the third year of a three-year transition process to the NCAA II and Sunshine State Conference and will not be eligible for the postseason in 2016.
