GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Embry-Riddle men's cross country team ran to a fifth-place finish on Saturday morning at the Mountain Dew Invitational, hosted by the University of Florida.

As a team, the Eagles finished fifth as Saint Leo won the meet with 57 points. SCAD Savannah (68), Flagler (69) and Florida Tech (74) palced second through fourth, respectively. ERAU's 126 points went along with a total time of 2:21:01.23 and an average time of 28:12.25.

Paris Williams had his best race of the season thus far, becoming the first Eagle to cross the finish line in 16th place in a time of 27:03.22.
Adam Lawrence posted his best time of the year with a 28:01.34 to finish in 34th, while
Brian Cheluget (28:04.42) finished just three second behind Lawrence in 35th position.
Stephen Dietz had his best team finish for the Blue and Gold as he placed 47th in 28:45.97 and
Patrick White rounded out the ERAU scorers in 55th with a time of 29:06.27.
Andrew Carosi (65th - 29:22.30) and Devontae Persha (33:09.70) also competed for Embry-Riddle, while
Calahan Warren continued his impressive season as an unattached runner, finishing 12th overall in 26:50.43.
Andrew Carpenter placed 18th (27:10.22) as an unattached as well.

Mike Rosolino said. "We had some people missing and we didnt finish where we would have liked, but we'll continue to get better and healthier for the next meet."
