DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. –
Shaun Bullock,
Lelei Too and
Calahan Warren set the pace for the rest of the field, as they led the Embry-Riddle men's cross country team to its first Sunshine State Conference championship.
The Eagles had the advantage of running the 2018 SSC Championships at their home course. Bullock, the 12th fastest runner in Eagle history, ran a 25:24.00 to finish first overall, which was also a course record.
Not far behind, Too (25:40.94) and Warren (25:41.25) finished side-by-side to finish the race second and third respectively. Too finished 14 seconds behind a career-best time.
Ryan Szklany's time of 26:08.34 earned the freshman a ninth-place finish, followed by
Paul McKenna's (26:14.28) 11th place finish,
Paris Williams' (26:27.46) 14th place finish and
Garrett Noltemeyer's (26:57.32) 26th place finish. Notlemeyer's time as just five seconds short of a career-best.

Austin Epstein (41st - 27:25.63),
Justin Nauman (55th - 28:04.41),

Bryce Walker (79th - 30:53.81). Epstein's time was a new career-best.
ERAU's total time of 2:09.09 was nearly two minutes faster than second-place Florida Southern's.
The Eagles will now compete at the NCAA II South Region Championships on November 17. The competition takes place at Holloway Park in Lakeland, Fla.
