DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Another day, another postseason honor for
Kyle Marsh as the NCAA Division II Collegiate Commissioners Association released their All-South Region Baseball Team listing with Marsh earning first team second baseman honors. Joining Marsh on the first team was the Eagles'
Luis Olivier as a utility player.
Marsh, who earned All-Sunshine State Conference honors on Wednesday and then first team NCBWA All-Region honors on Thursday, claimed his third honor in as many days on Friday when the D2CCA announced their All-Region Team. Marsh led the Eagles in many offensive categories, including batting average (.393), hits (77), RBIs (59), runs (59), slugging percentage (.653) and on-base percentage (.467). Marsh also went 15-for-15 on the bases and led the Eagles with 118 assists defensively.
Olivier, a sophomore from Altamonte Springs, started 21 games at first base, 18 games behind the dish, three contests in right field and eight games as the team's designated hitter. Olivier hit .350 on 72 hits, including 12 doubles, two triples and 13 home runs. Olivier collected 56 RBIs and scored 36 runs with a .617 slugging percentage and fielded .976 at three different positions. Olivier led the team with 24 multi-hit games and 18 multi-RBI games, the second-most in a single season in ERAU's 30-year program history.
