NEW ORLEANS, La. — The Embry-Riddle women's track and field team was named a 2020 NCAA II All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Thursday. Head Coach
Mike Rosolino's squad has a 3.12 cumulative grade point average.
To be eligible for All-Academic Team consideration a program must have a cumulative GPA (not semester and not just for the 2019-20 academic year) of 3.0 or higher for all student-athletes on the institution's NCAA Squad List for indoor and/or outdoor track and field.
The Eagles also had three student-athletes receive individual recognition as
Morgan Dudley,
Anna Miller and
Alyssa Zack were named USTFCCCA All-Academic Athletes. Student-athletes of the All-Academic Athlete roster must have completed at least 24 semesters with a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA, and have achieved an automatic-or provisional qualifying mark (individual or relay event) for the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Dudley, Miller and Zack were all part of the distance medley relay team that achieved a provisional qualifying time of 12:05.18 at the JDL DMR Invitational in Winston Salem, North Carolina in February.
Dudley and Miller are both Aeronautical Science majors with GPAs of 3.704 and 3.263, respectively. Zack is a Mechanical Engineering major with a 3.885 GPA.
