GREENSBORO, North Carolina -
Jeremy Kennedy-Davis grabbed yet another postseason honor on Wednesday as the American Baseball Coaches' Association (ABCA) released its 2022 NCAA II All-Region rosters and the Eagles' catcher was listed as a second team All-South Region honoree. Kennedy-Davis, who was a first team All-Sunshine State Conference and Honorable Mention NCBWA All-Region awardee, adds the ABCA All-Region honor following his outstanding sophomore season.
Kennedy-Davis hit .353 for the Eagles, slugging .545 with an on-base percentage of .434, all while playing a premium defensive position. He led Embry-Riddle with 55 hits, 12 doubles, and six home runs, driving in 30 runs and scoring 30 times. His 22 walks also paced ERAU, and the sophomore fielded .991 over 213 chances, throwing out 10 would-be base stealers. Kennedy-Davis registered 17 multi-hit games and eight multi-RBI contests, including a pair of games with four RBIs.
Kennedy-Davis is the fourth Eagle to earn ABCA All-Region accolades, and the first since Kirk Sidwell and Zach Howard earned the distinction in 2019.
