LEXINGTON, Ky. - The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced its All-Region teams this week, and
Jaden McBride and
Isabella Rujano were included among the 160 student-athletes selected. The pair of Eagles also received All-Sunshine State Conference accolades this season.Â

Junior outside hitter McBride was named to the AVCA NCAA II All-South Region First Team. She was one of the most well-rounded competitors in the SSC, averaging the fifth-most kills (3.56), seventh-most aces (0.36) and the 17th-most digs (2.93) per set in the league to go along with a .224 hit percentage. The St. John's, Florida native also had a career-high 0.54 blocks per set played.Â
It's the 10th athletic award of her collegiate career and the second time she has been named to an AVCA All-Region squad after doing so in 2021.Â

Sophomore outside hitter Rujano was named an All-South Region Honorable Mention for the first time thanks to an increased role in her second season as an Eagle. She was among the best in the SSC in terms of efficiency, posting the league's eighth-highest hit percentage (.291) and collecting 2.85 kills per set, good enough for 15th in the conference.Â
