Jez Announces 2025 Men’s Lacrosse Schedule

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Head Coach John Jez announced the slate of games for the 2025 Embry-Riddle men's lacrosse season on Wednesday. The Eagles' 14-match schedule will feature eight games on the road and six played at the Embry-Riddle Lacrosse Field.

For the fourth time in as many seasons, the Eagles will open the season against Flagler, traveling to St. Augustine for a 7 p.m. contest on Feb. 1. The Eagles' only home game in February will be on Feb. 8 when they host Alabama-Huntsville before taking on Anderson in Savannah, Ga. on Feb. 15 and traveling to Palm Beach Atlantic on Feb. 21.

The Eagles will play four of the six games on its March schedule at home, starting with a tough opponent in Florida Southern on March. The Moccasins were ranked 20th in the final USA Lacrosse poll of the season and will mark the start of conference play for Embry-Riddle. The Blue & Gold will travel to North Greenville (March 1) and back to Savannah for another neutral site game against Newberry (March 12) before closing out the month at home against Molloy (March 18) and conference foes Palm Beach Atlantic (March 22) and Florida Tech (March 29).

The month of April will be dominated by conference play as the Eagles set their sights on the program's first postseason appearance. The road-heavy four-match schedule includes trips to Lynn (April 2), Saint Leo (April 5), and defending SSC champion and third-ranked Tampa (April 12). Embry-Riddle will conclude regular season play at home against Rollins on April 16.

"The 2025 schedule is very competitive," Jez noted. "All the teams were receiving votes or ranked in the national coaches' poll at some point in 2024. As always, our keys match-up are the SSC schools as they are all very talented. We are looking to build on last year, with our main goal to make it to postseason play."

"We have a strong core group of returning players and some added newcomers that can help us," Jez said of his roster that includes 32 returners. Headlining that list are two 2024 All-Conference honorees in first team selection Christian Hofer and third team pick Pete Abbes.

The top six teams in the SSC based on the final regular season standings will secure a spot in the 2025 SSC Men's Lacrosse Championship.
