Men's Track & Field Sweeps Weekly PBC Honors

MARTINEZ, Ga. -- For the third week in a row, the Embry-Riddle track and field program has won the Peach Belt Conference. Following three weeks of winning the Men's Indoor Track and Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week Awards, the Eagles have snapped up both the  Men's Indoor Track and Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week Awards, going to Jake Fritz and Antonio Caito.

Jake Fritz took home the award after setting the program record in the 800m at the Florida University Last Chance, meeting a provisional standard in a time of 800m.

Caito had a similarly good showing in Gainesville, setting a program record of 14.99m in the triple jump to meet a provisional standard.
 

Next up for the Eagles is a trip back to Gainesville and the Alachua County Sports Complex, where they'll be competing in the first iteration of the Peach Belt Indoor Conference Championships on Monday, February 19.
