Program Records, Personal Bests Highlight the Celebration Pointe Indoor Classic for Women's Track

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Embry-Riddle women's track and field team finished up the Celebration Pointe Indoor Classic, with day two of the event being a very successful one for the Eagles at the Alachua County Sports Complex.

The mile saw a great start for ERAU, as Anna Miller (5:00.56), Abby Valley (5:08.66), Caroline Harris 5:13.66) and Alaina Rider (5:20.06) all set personal bests in the event, with Miller and Valley coming in first and fifth place respectively.

Brooklynn Gould ran the 400m in 58.82, breaking a career record. In addition, Leah Bartlett's time of 1:03.72 was her personal best.

Valley and Ariana Anderson excelled in the 5000m, with their times of 18:06.84 and 18:22.97. Valley's personal-best finish marked a new program record for the Eagles, while Anderson's placed her third in program history.

Laura McBride (2:14.87) and Taylor Roth (2:17.10) finished in third and fifth place in the 800m, with Roth recording a personal best.

McBride set another personal best in the 60m hurdles with 9.86, while Michala Daniels set a personal record as well with 9.53m.

Finally, the Eagles finished in third place in the 4x400 relay, as the team of Ciara Thomas, Taylor Roth, Caroline Harris and McBride finished the race in 4:05.77.

The Eagles will return to the Alachua County Sports Complex on Thursday, when they'll be competing in the Florida University Last Chance
