ORLANDO, Fla. - The Embry-Riddle women's golf team stayed stagnant on the scoreboard to finish in ninth with 1,002 (328-335-339) strokes at the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational hosted by Rollins at the Orange Tree Country Club. The field of 10 programs included four highly-ranked teams inside the top 15 such as No. 2 Nova Southeastern, No. 5 Rollins, No. 12 Barry, and No. 15 Lee. The course proved tough to tame as there were no under-par rounds throughout the entire tournament.

"The Orange Tree Country Club is the home for many tour players for a reason," said Head Coach Maria Lopez. "It's an excellent test. I'm confident that being tested this week will catapult us to our next level of competitiveness for the postseason. I'm proud of our class and fight and am ready to finish the season strong."

Four Eagles posted season-best finishes including Jasmine Yang, Stevie Albright, Eden Tsouklaris, and Savannah Hawthorne. For Albright, it was also the highest result of her career.

Yang (77-87-81=245) bounced back with an 81 in her final round. She finished the competition with 30 pars, which was the most on the team and tied for the 14th most in the field.

Millie Lawson (82-87-80=249) saved the best for last with an 80 on Tuesday, a score that tied for the lowest by an Eagle. She notched a team-best two birdies over the final round for a total of five over 54 holes, tied with Albright for the most on the team.

Loa Johannsson (81-84-89=254), Hawthorne (88-80-89=257) and McCormack (89-84-89=262) closed out their tournaments with 89s.

Competing as an individual, Albright (82-83-80=245) soared up the scoreboard into a tie for 27th with her best round of the week. Tsouklaris (83-82-84=249) also participated as an individual. She was one of just eight players in the field to avoid a triple bogey or worse, proving how tough the course was for all the competitors.

Nova Southeastern (316-304-305=925) captured the tournament title ahead of Barry (300-320-309=929) and Rollins (318-311-317=946).

Barry's Nina Klug (72-74-72=218) was the top individual.

Just one regular season tournament remains for the Eagles. Embry-Riddle is scheduled to participate in the Lady Moc Classic 2.0 hosted by Florida Southern from April 1-2 at The Club at Eaglebrooke.
