LAKELAND, Fla. - The Embry-Riddle women's golf team ended the regular season on a strong note, recording the 10th-lowest round in program history to conclude the Lady Moc Classic 2.0. The Eagles finished with a total of 925 strokes (309-306-310) to place 15th in a loaded field that featured six teams ranked inside the top 10 (No. 1 Dallas Baptist, No. 2 Nova Southeastern, No. 3 Flagler, No. 5 Rollins, No. 8 Anderson, and No. 9 Barry) and 13 inside the top 25 (No. 12 Lynn, No. 15 Saint Leo, No. 18 Grand Valley State, No. 19 Wingate, No. 21 Lander, No. 23 Tampa, and No. 25 Florida Southern) of the most recent Clippd rankings.

Play was held at the par-72, 6,029-yard course at The Club at Eaglebrooke.

Numerous Eagles set personal bests in the tournament and during round three.

Millie Lawson (76-79-73=228) saved her best for last with a 73 on Tuesday, which tied for the lowest score on the team in the round with Savannah Hawthorne. Both also led the squad in birdies on the day with three each. The graduate student closed her tournament strong by going two under par over the last nine holes.

Loa Johannsson (76-72-80=228) used nine birdies over three rounds, tying the team high with Hawthorne, to match Lawson's 228. It's also the lowest 54-hole score for the pair of Eagles this spring.

A career-low 74 in the third round aided Reni Jancsik (79-81-74=234) to her best score of the season, which also tied her career low.

Jasmine Yang's (78-76-83=237) 34 pars matched Lawson for the most by a member of the Blue and Gold in the competition.

Mackenzie McCormack (81-79-84=244) also competed.

The Eagles also sent three individuals. Hawthorne (81-74-73=228) responded well after a challenging first round. The junior excelled on par-5s, going two under on such holes. She earned season-bests in single round score (73), 54-hole score (228), and finish (T-37th).

Eden Tsouklaris (88-81-76=245) picked up a season-low 76 on Tuesday, partly thanks to a pair of birdies in the last three holes. Her 245 stroke total was also a 54-hole personal best as an Eagle. Stevie Albright (80-85-80=245) also participated.

Dallas Baptist (293-284-284=861) pulled away on the final day with Flagler (291-293-292=876) finishing second and Nova Southeastern (287-299-299=885) and Saint Leo (296-293-296=885) tying for third.

The Patriots' Julia Garcia (67-70-67=204) was the top individual by nine strokes.

The Eagles now must prepare for the Sunshine State Conference Tournament held in Largo, Florida at the Bayou Club from April 14-16.
