ORLANDO, Fla. – Former Embry-Riddle men's basketball standout Romeo Crouch (2019-22) has been selected to the Sunshine State Conference Men's Basketball Golden Anniversary Team, honoring the most accomplished student-athletes in the league's history. Crouch's inclusion places him on list of 14 of the SSC's most impactful players in the past quarter-century.
Crouch, one of the most elite players to don the Blue and Gold, remains the all-time leading Eagle in scoring average at 20.0 points per game. He totaled 1,279 points in his three-year stint at ERAU, ranking within the program's top 10 in several statistical categories.
The Titusville, Florida, native closed his career seventh in three-pointers made (216), sixth in three-point percentage (.421), seventh in free-throw percentage (.805), 10th in assists (340), fourth in assist average (5.3), and second in steals average (2.5). He also holds the program record for consecutive games with a made three-pointer (52) and owns six 30-point performances – second-most in ERAU history – along with 33 career 20-point outings.
A dynamic force and consistent performer, Crouch earned seven SSC Player of the Week honors – the most ever by an ERAU student-athlete. He was a two-time First Team All-SSC selection, a D2CCA First Team All-Region choice in 2021-22, and a D2CCA All-America Honorable Mention that same season. His 2021-22 campaign also garnered a NABC First Team All-District distinction, following a Second Team All-District showing in 2019-20.
In addition, Crouch was an NABC Reese's Division II All-Star as well as the 2019-20 SSC Newcomer of the Year. In the classroom, Crouch was equally impressive, earning two SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll selections and two NABC Honors Court awards while also being an Academic All-District selection by CoSIDA.
In addition to the 14 players who competed in the league from 2000 to 2025, the SSC has paired with the league's Silver Anniversary Team (1975–1999) to celebrate the conference's most outstanding talent and create a historic 28-member roster.
