Eagles Roll in Convincing Kármán Clash Win at Florida Tech

MELBOURNE, Fla. – Embry-Riddle men's basketball dominated the hardwood on Wednesday afternoon, securing a 95-62 win over Florida Tech in Melbourne, Florida.

The Eagles took control early and cruised to victory in the Kármán Clash Rivalry game inside the Charles and Ruth Clemente Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED

First Half
  • Embry-Riddle knocked Florida Tech on the ropes early with a 20-4 opening run over the first seven and a half minutes of play.
  • The Eagles took advantage of four jumpers from long range to help build the early lead, with Dawson Barr scoring six from deep.
  • As a team, ERAU shot 70% from the field and 62.5% from three to hold a 55-36 lead at the break.
  • Barr led the offensive production in the first 20 minutes with 16 points and 6-of-8 shooting while also snagging a team-leading six rebounds.
  • In addition, the Eagles produced a team total of 14 assists in the first half with Jared Berry dishing out five followed by three from Logan Lewis and Evan Montanari.
 
Second Half
  • ERAU further extended the cushion with 10 unanswered points out of the gate, nearly taking a 30-point advantage and cruised to a 95-62 finish.
  • The Eagles outscored the Panthers 40-26 in the second half, led by six points each from Braeden Moore, Milan Skoric, and Berry.
