ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Embry-Riddle Women's Golf started the spring portion of its season with the first two rounds of the World Golf Invitational on Monday. The Eagles sit in a three-way tie for 13th at 634 with Catawba and No. 45 Montevallo. ERAU is also ahead of No. 10 Saint Leo. Loa Johannsson shook off early struggles to finish with a 153 thanks to a season-low 72 in round two. She's just one shot outside of the top 20.

"The conditions have been extremely difficult the past 24 hours," said head coach Maria Lopez. "The greens are very challenging, and the wind was switching direction a lot. They hung in there and kept their cool and kept fighting."

It's another loaded field as 14 of the 16 teams are ranked inside the top 50 of the latest Clippd rankings, including the No. 50 Eagles.
