INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – The No.3 Embry-Riddle women's tennis team (5-1) fell to No.1 Barry University (5-1), 4-0 in the ITA National Indoor semifinals. The Eagles couldn't find the winning formula on Saturday evening as they had their first loss of the season.
Doubles
- The No.1 pairing of Laura Cuesta Bret and Carla Carbero Del Hierro got the only win for the day, coming out on top against Viktoriia Dema and Maria Tatarnikova 6-4.
Singles
- The Eagles couldn't find their rhythm in the singles, with courts two, five, and six losing in straight sets.
- This tournament was in a clinch format meaning once the match was decided courts one, three, and four didn't finish.
The Eagles remain in Indianapolis tomorrow as they take part in the third-place match against North Georgia at 5:30 p.m.
