No.4 Women’s Tennis Falls to No.6 Saints

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The No. 4 Embry-Riddle women's tennis team suffered a tough 4-2 loss to No. 6 Flagler today. The match was played in a clinch format, meaning the first team to reach four points secured the win.

  • The final doubles point came down to a dramatic tiebreaker between Jessica Christa Wira Hadipoernomo and Charly Egger of Embry-Riddle and Sofia Balsera and Adela Latalova for Flagler. The Eagles triumphed 7-6 (4), clinching the point.
  • Wira Hadipoernomo made history today, marking her 73rd career singles win, setting an all-time record for the program.
