MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle men's lacrosse team had seven individuals named to the 2025 All-Conference roster as announced by the Sunshine State Conference office on Tuesday. The Eagles had one second team and six third team honorees, marking the most selections in a single season for an ERAU team that finished a program-best fourth in the league regular season standings.
Christian Hofer is making his second appearance on the All-Conference listing as he was tabbed a second-team selection. The senior currently has 37 points on the year with 17 points coming on nine goals and eight assists in conference play. He is tied for fourth in the SSC with 1.14 assists per game.
Sophomores
Carter Groezinger,
Leo Mileto and
Luke Barber along with first-year players
Tim Keefe,
Nolan Carfagna and
Bobby Cyr all garnered third team honors. Groezinger has started in 11 games for the Eagles this season and ranks in the top five in the SSC in saves percentage (3rd, .566), saves per game (12.17) and goals against average (5th, 10.45) in six league games.
After seeing limited playing time as a freshman, Mileto has come into his own as a sophomore with 11 starts in 14 appearances. He has 18 goals and nine assists for 27 total points and is 13th in the SSC with 1.57 goals per game.
Keefe is a first-year transfer who has played in all 15 games for the Blue and Gold. He leads the Eagles with 40 points on 20 goals and a team-high 20 assists and is tied with Hofer for fourth in the SSC in assists per game.
Barber has played all 15 games in the Eagle midfield and has eight points on seven goals and an assist to go with a team-best 34 ground balls.
Carfagna, also a transfer, and Cyr, a freshman, have started all 15 games, helping to anchor the Eagle defense. The duo has helped the Eagles to a 10.33 goals against average, which ranks fourth in the SSC. Carfagna has 24 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers, while Cyr has 32 ground balls and 19 turnovers, which is 10th in the league.
The Eagles, who are competing the SSC Tournament for the first time in program history, continue their postseason run on Wednesday when they travel to Tampa to take on the top-ranked Spartans in the semifinal round. The game is scheduled for 4 p.m.
