DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle baseball team's 2025 season came to an end under unusual circumstances on Sunday. In the first game of the three-game series against Eckerd, rain forced the suspension of Friday's game, which was completed on Saturday. Just an inning and a third into Sunday's contest, rain and lightning called a halt to play once again, but this time, it spelled the end of the season for both the Eagles and the Tritons.
The Blue and Gold closed out a challenging campaign at 25-24 overall and 10-19 in the Sunshine State Conference. The Tritons capped their season at 10-38 and 5-24 in the league.
