DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Embry-Riddle Men's Lacrosse Senior
Christian Hofer garnered another national honor on Wednesday, earning Third Team Academic All-America honors as awarded by College Sports Communicators. The 2025 award is the second Academic All-America honor of his career.
The CSC Academic All-District program recognizes student-athlete separately across four divisions— NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To be eligible for recognition, student-athletes must have a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and have played in at least 90% of their team's contests from the current season.
Wednesday's honor was one of many won this season by Hofer who played all 16 games for the Blue and Gold in 2025. He was a Second Team All-Sunshine State Conference selection and earned USILA and USA Lacrosse Magazine Honorable Mention All-America honors. In addition, he was named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll and was a USILA Scholar All-American.
The senior totaled 38 points on 24 goals and 14 assists and scored in 14 of his 16 appearances. His time in the midfield saw the Oviedo, Florida senior score two man-up goals and two game-winners in addition to picking up 11 ground balls.
Hofer completed his undergraduate degree in computational mathematics with a 3.83 GPA and posted a 3.90 GPA in pursuit of his MBA.
