Caito Set to Represent Embry-Riddle at USATF Indoor Nationals

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Antonio Caito will represent Embry-Riddle men's track and field at the USATF Indoor Championships on Saturday. The current program record holder will compete in the triple jump, looking to solidify his name among the nation's best. Competition will be held Feb. 28 through March 1 at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complexin Staten Island, New York. This will be the second time the championships have been held at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex; the last time was in 2019.

Qualifying for the event consists of hitting a minimum or automatic standard in a respective event within the qualifying window of Nov. 1, 2025, through Feb. 22, 2026.

Qualifying Standards:
Minimum: 15.50m
Automatic: 16.50m

The Indianapolis native met the minimum standard on Jan. 23 at the Alachua County Sports and Events Center Invitational and Multi with a jump of 15.60m. Caito currently holds the program record for the indoor triple jump and most recently jumped 15.64m at the 2026 Peach Belt Conference Championship on Feb. 23. His most recent performance is currently the third furthest in NCAA Division II. 

"It's a great opportunity for him to compete at the highest level, to showcase his ability, to represent the university and to put our name on the biggest stage," said head coach Mike Rosolino.

Caito will take his first jump at 2:20 p.m. EST on Saturday, Feb. 28.
