HOW IT HAPPENED
First Quarter
  • Embry-Riddle did not take long to build up an early lead, already ahead 4-0 after the first six minutes of the game.  Eliana Enners got the scoring started at 13:41, before a woman-up goal made it 3-0 with 11:03 still left to play.
  • In between the two goals from Enners, Ashley Albert extended her streak to five consecutive games with a goal after finding the back of the net without an assist.
  • Ava Rogala extended the lead to four when she scored the first of her four goals this afternoon off of an assist from Callison Foreman. They led the team in each of those categories.
  • Both of Lenoir-Rhyne's goals in the opening period came from the stick of Kirra Olson almost four minutes apart from each other. The team's opening goal came with 8:30 remaining, followed by the second at 4:20.
  • Within those four minutes, Aubrey Schmidt scored back-to-back goals for the Eagles, giving us a 6-2 scoreline heading into the final minutes of the quarter.
  • Rogala became the fourth player to score at least two goals in a high-scoring first period after she made the game 7-2 with only 1:46 still to go.
Second Quarter
  • After nine goals in the first 15 minutes, there would only be seven more goals in the next two quarters, seeing ERAU bring an 11-5 lead into the final period.
  • Jordan Davis and Allison Cimaglia each scored an unassisted goal to begin the frame as the Eagles did not give up a goal for the first 10 minutes of the quarter.
  • Anneleise Meyer grabbed Lenoir-Rhyne's only goal of the quarter with 4:26 left before halftime. The Bears only had two shots in the period as the Blue and Gold forced them into eight turnovers during the quarter.
  • With only 17 seconds remaining before the break, Davis would score once again, watching Embry-Riddle hold a 10-3 advantage at the break.
Third Quarter

Fourth Quarter
  • Embry-Riddle outscored the Bears 6-1 in the final 15 minutes, aided by their domination at the draws as they controlled all six in the fourth quarter.
  • Natalie Jansky got her first goal of the day to start the final period, restoring ERAU's seven-goal lead at 12-5 with 13:41 remaining.
  • Rogala reached a new season-high with four goals when she tacked on the Eagles' 13th goal of the day less than a minute later.
  • Lenoir-Rhyne's last goal of the game came with 10:40 still on the clock when Meyer made the game 13-6.
  • The Blue and Gold scored the last four goals of the day with three of those assisted by Foreman. The graduate attacker finished with a career-high five assists.
  • Two of those assists came just 20 seconds apart as Schmidt and Davis each completed their hat tricks. ERAU had four players score at least three goals this afternoon.
