ORLANDO, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle men's track and field team competed at the UCF Knights Invitational Friday and Saturday, highlighted by multiple NCAA II provisional marks and a pair of program records.
The meet featured Division I programs such as Purdue, Penn State and Louisville, along with Division II competition including Tampa, Florida Tech and Saint Leo.
Highlight Performances:
- Luke Richardson placed fourth in both the 200m and 100m, running 20.96 (+1.8) and 10.18 (+2.2), respectively, with both marks setting program records. Both his 200m and 100m times met the NCAA II provisional standard.
- Mason Briggs and Noah Gammichia placed first and fourth in the javelin Friday, recording NCAA II provisional marks of 66.86m and 61.77m, respectively. Both marks were personal bests, with Briggs solidifying his position as the No. 2 all-time performer in program history and Gammichia moving into fourth.
- Eli Enney ran 48.13 in the 400m, becoming the fifth-fastest performer in program history.
- The 4x400m relay team of Enney, Drake Stephan, Richardson and Andre Inniss finished first with a time of 3:14.93, narrowly missing an Embry-Riddle all-time top-five mark by four-tenths of a second.
