ORLANDO, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference has announced the 2025-26 SSC Men's Basketball All-Conference awards, recognizing three Embry-Riddle men's basketball student-athletes.
Jared Berry, Jack Klinger, and Clarens Pierre earned All-SSC nods as three of 19 student-athletes honored. Berry led with All-SSC Second Team recognition while Klinger appeared on the All-SSC Third Team, and Pierre earned a nod to the All-SSC Defensive Team.
The honor marks the eighth season that ERAU has been represented in the SSC All-Conference selections and the first time that three individuals earned recognition for a single season.
Jared Berry – Second Team All-SSC
Berry put together a standout season, earning Second Team honors after finishing the regular season ranked second in scoring against conference opposition with an average of 21.6 points per contest. He started all 28 games for ERAU and averaged over 32 minutes per game, being named SSC Player of the Week two times this season.
The Apopka, Florida native ranked fourth in assists (4.6 apg), fifth in three-point percentage (.421), seventh in steals (1.6 spg), and eighth in field-goal percentage (.479) against SSC teams.
The redshirt junior finished the 2025-26 campaign with an average of 20.3 ppg across all competitions, scoring 569 points in the process while dishing out a total of 140 assists. He produced six games of 25 or more points this season with a high of 29 against Florida Tech on Jan. 28.
Jack Klinger – Third Team All-SSC
Klinger, one of the more efficient players in the conference, earned Third Team honors in his redshirt junior campaign. He finished as the league's leader in field goal percentage, shooting 73.1% (114-for-156) against SSC foes. Defensively, he ranked eighth in blocks with 22 blocks across 20 conference games (1.1 bpg).
The native of Longwood, Fla. scored a career-high 21 points at Palm Beach Atlantic on Feb. 25 and finished the season with four straight games in double figures. He closed the season, averaging 12.9 points per game while scoring 15 or more points in nine contests. In addition, Klinger shot 70% or greater in 19 of the 28 games played.
Clarens Pierre – Defensive Team All-SSC
Pierre earned Defensive Team nods as the second-ranked player in blocks during SSC play, recording a total of 32 for an average of 1.7 per game. He led the team with 40 blocks on the season, starting in all 27 games played.
The senior from Orlando, Fla. was also a force off the glass, averaging 5.9 rebounds per game and totaling 106 defensive boards while also gathering 20 steals. He earned SSC Defensive Player of the Week honors on Feb. 2.
