4x100m Relay Program Record Highlights Men’s Track and Field at USF Invitational

TAMPA, Fla. – Embry-Riddle men's track and field competed Friday at the USF Invitational. The Blue & Gold recorded five top-five finishes, including two event wins and one school record.

Highlight Performances:
  • The javelin squad continued to impress, winning the event for the third time this season. This time, Noah Gammichia outpaced teammate Mason Briggs. Gammichia threw 61.72m to place first, while Briggs placed third with a throw of 60.58m. Both hit the NCAA provisional standard once again.
  • The 4x100m relay team of Eli Enney, Aaron Nash, Derick Brown, and Luke Richardson ran a time of 40.42 seconds, an NCAA Division II provisional mark, a program record, and the best time of the meet. The Eagles will look to clean up handoffs and push toward a sub-40 mark in the coming weeks.
  • Ethan Stout ran the 5,000m in 15:00.90, finishing fourth.
  • Jacob Swavely rounded out the top-five finishes for the Blue & Gold, throwing 44.75m in the discus to place fifth.

UP NEXT
The Eagles will conclude the regular season next week at home at the Embry-Riddle Blue & Gold Invite on April 18.
