Men’s Track and Field Celebrates Seniors, Concludes Three Days of Competition at the Embry-Riddle Classic

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle men's track and field team competed at home over three days for the 2026 Embry-Riddle Classic. The Eagles recorded 10 top-three finishes during the meet, including four event victories.

Highlight Performances:

  • Nicholas Scarangelli and senior Andrew Stowe finished first and second, respectively, in the 10,000m on Friday night. Scarangelli also placed second in the 1500m with a personal-best time of 3:48.40, ranking third all-time in program history.
  • Aaron Nash led the field events, winning the long jump with a mark of 7.34m to become the sole program record holder while also reaching the NCAA II provisional standard. Garren Lattig added another victory in the pole vault, clearing 4.55m.
  • Ethan Stout captured the 3000m steeplechase title on senior night with a time of 9:27.36.
  • Javelin throwers Mason Briggs and Noah Gammichia placed second and fourth with marks of 65.80m and 60.94m, respectively, both meeting the NCAA II provisional standard.

Embry-Riddle will travel to the University of South Florida for the USF Invitational from April 10-11.
