Ella-Rae Cox Named SSC Goalkeeper of the Year, Four More Earn All-Conference Recognition

| By:
ORLANDO, Fla. - Five Embry-Riddle women's lacrosse student-athletes earned All-Sunshine State Conference honors, the league office announced on Monday. Eliana Enners and Ella-Rae Cox were each included on the All-SSC First Team, with Cox also earning Goalkeeper of the Year honors. The trio of Eagles recognized as Second Team All-SSC players included Ava Rogala, Natalie Jansky, and Lucy Pickle.

Cox becomes the first player in program history to be named SSC Goalkeeper of the Year. The only other Embry-Riddle player to earn an individual SSC award was Enners, who was named Freshman of the Year in 2024.

Cox, a Huntingtown, Maryland native, played over 1,000 minutes in the crease this season, the only player in the league to reach that mark. She totaled 133 saves and posted a .429 save percentage while starting all 17 games for the Eagles. After earning Second Team All-SSC honors last season, Cox recorded 12 wins this year, tied for the most in a single season in program history.

Enners, who has now been named a First Team All-SSC player for the third consecutive year, also broke a pair of ERAU program records this season. The junior leads the team in goals (53), points (62), game-winning goals (3), and free position goals (14). Since the start of the 2026 campaign, the midfielder set the program record for career goals (174) and ground balls (139). The midfielder out of Bedford, New Hampshire was named the USA Lacrosse National Player of the Week on March 31 after a game against Lander with eight goals, eight ground balls, three caused turnovers, and a pair of draw controls.

Rogala, in her third season with the Eagles, out of Denver, Colorado, earned Second Team All-Conference honors for the second consecutive season. She has recorded at least one point and one draw control in all 17 games this year, including back-to-back five goal performances against Quincy (March 21) and Rollins (March 24).

Jansky set multiple career highs this season while earning her first All-SSC selection. The junior attacker leads the team with 32 assists and scored in every regular-season game. She also posted career highs in points (57) and ground balls (30).

Pickle was recognized as the only ERAU defender on the All-Conference roster and has been a versatile player this season. The sophomore has also spent time as a midfielder for the Blue and Gold, leading to season totals of one assist, 23 ground balls, eight caused turnovers, and nine draw controls.

The Eagles will wait for the NCAA Selection Show on Sunday, May 3, at 8:30 p.m. to see who they will play in the first round of the national tournament. That game would take place on Thursday, May 7.
