ORLANDO, Fla. – Three Embry-Riddle men's tennis student-athletes earned recognition in the release of the 2026 Sunshine State All-Conference Awards as announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon.
Marc Mail,
Joao Morgado, and
Joshua Nuyts were honored for their stellar performances on the court this season. Mail was tabbed a First Team All-SSC selection in singles play with Morgado earning Second Team All-SSC recognition in singles. Both Nuyts and Morgado paired up for a Second Team All-SSC selection in doubles as well.
Mail was a steady selection as the topflight player for Embry-Riddle, posting an overall record of 18-8, 12-6 in dual play, and a 4-1 SSC record. He finished the season ranked No. 15 in the ITA Rankings on April 29 and was also a part of a Top 25-ranked doubles pairing for most of the season.
As for Morgado, he posted a 21-2 overall record, a 16-2 slate in dual competition, and a 4-1 record in SSC play. Morgado closed out the season with an ITA singles ranking of No. 60 in Division II.
Nuyts and Morgado paired up as strong doubles grouping that posted a 19-9 overall record and a 4-1 SSC slate in the No. 2 slot. Nuyts adds to his athletic achievements as a 2024 Second Team Singles selection and the 2024 SSC Freshman of the Year.
