DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- The Northwood University women's volleyball team snapped a 10-match losing skid against Embry-Riddle University dating back to Sept. 14, 1996 with a 3-0 victory (30-15, 30-18, 30-27) in Florida Sun Conference action Friday night.
Outside hitter Vivian Perez led the Northwood (1-2, 1-0 in FSC) attack with 21 kills and added 16 digs, while setter Quinn Davidson directed the offense recording 37 assists.? The Seahawks were very strong defensively with five players?registering double-figures in digs paced by Perez.? Crystal White?finished with?13 digs,?Claudia Andrade chipped added 12,?while Capri Hilgendorf?and Angie Carrancejie finished with 11 apiece.
Dani Brazolino led the Eagles (2-11, 1-5 in FSC) with seven kills and added 12 digs, while Noela?Tola and
Sue Delahanty added five kills apiece.
The Eagles?resume action on Saturday at 12 p.m.?for a non-conference match against Palm Beach Atlantic University.???
