DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Liz Moyer, Liz Layfield and Melissa Bear all recorded double-figures in kills to lead the Flagler women's volleyball team to a 3-0 (30-18, 30-22, 30-26) victory against Embry-Riddle and extending its winning streak to four against the Eagles dating back to 2002.
Moyer posted 12 kills, Layfield finished with 11 and?Bear had 10 as the Saints hit .214 for the match, compared to just .109 for Embry-Riddle.??The Saints?hit at?a .294 clip in the first game and were?tremendous defensively with 33 digs en route to a 30-18 victory.
The Eagles were paced by
Noela Tola with 15 kills and a?.205?hitting percentage, while
Sue Delahanty (New Smyrna Beach, Fla.) added 12 kills and 17 digs.
Embry-Riddle resumes action on Friday when they travel to the Clearwater Christian Tournament?at 10 a.m.
