DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- National Christian College Athletic Association No. 2-ranked Palm Beach Atlantic University extended its match-winning streak against Embry-Riddle University to seven with a 3-0 victory in non-conference action Saturday afternoon?(30-16, 30-10, 30-23) at the ICI Center.

Palm Beach jumped out to an early lead on the serve of Ashley Bonvento who recorded two service aces in a 7-0 run to build an 11-2 advantage.? The Eagles clawed back to within 15-10, before Palm Beach went on another 7-0 run to take a 22-10 lead.? The Sailfish closed out the game 30-16 on four kills from junior Kristin Mock and three from senior Jackie Stanley.?

Stanley paced PBA with 14 kills and a very impressive .609 hitting percentage.? Mock finished with nine kills and a .533 hitting percentage and Adriana Chinchilla added eight kills and a .533 hitting percentage.

In the second game, Whitney Warren propelled the Sailfish to a 14-0 lead with three service aces and she finished the match with five.? The lead was insurmountable for the Eagles as PBA cruised to victory 30-10.

The Eagles came alive in the third game taking a 9-1 advantage behind?three kills from Dani Brazolino.? However, the Sailfish scored 12 of the next 15 points to?take their first lead of the game 13-12 behind?four kills by Stanley.? Stanley had eight of her?game-high 14 kills in the third game hitting .571, while Chinchilla added six kills in the final game with a .500 hitting percentage.

Embry-Riddle kept the game close?behind five kills from Delahanty, who finished with 10 kills and Brazolino had four of her five kills in the third.? However, Palm Beach Atlantic scored seven of the final?10 points to prevail 30-23.?
