MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - On a hot day in Miami Gardens, Fla. Embry-Riddle track and field sophomore
Jacob Dordick won the 2
nd Annual KB Half Marathon.
Last year, the Charlotte, N.C. native was runner-up, but that wasn't happening this year as he won the race in 1:20:25, winning the race by over four minutes. He fell shy of the NAIA standard with no one to push the pace.
Dordick ran the race at a pace of 6:08 per mile, 20 seconds faster than second-place finisher Fausto Bolanos. Dordick will join the Eagles in Miramar, Fla. as the men's track team looks to capture its seventh straight Sun Conference Championship.
