EMBRY-RIDDLEEmbry-Riddle is one of just six unbeaten teams remaining in NAIA II, moving to 9-0 overall last week with its first Sun Conference win of the year, a 67-56 victory over Webber International in Babson Park. The Eagles held firm at No. 7 in the most recent NAIA II Coaches' Top 25 Poll released on Tuesday.
The Eagles are scoring more than 82 points per game while holding their opponents to 62 points per contest and less than 40 percent shooting from the field. ERAU has been dominant on the glass all season, outrebounding teams by an average of 9.9 boards per outing.
Cesar Pastrana became the 28th Eagle to score 1,000 points in his career when he scored his seventh point at Webber International last Wednesday. The senior from Cartagena, Colombia is leading the team with 16.7 points and 9.0 rebounds per game, securing dobule-doubles in each of his last three contests.
Joining Pastrana in averaging double figures are sophomore
Dalton Barnes (13.9 ppg) and senior
DeForest Carter (11.4 ppg). Barnes also adds 4.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game while Carter dishes out 7.0 assists, pulls down 3.8 rebounds and records 3.6 steals per contest.
ALICE LLOYDAlice Lloyd is 4-7 overall in 2014-15, with wins over Kentucky Christian, Bluefield, Crown College and Indiana Southeast on its resume. The Eagles are averaging 74 points per game and are shooting the ball at a 44 percent clip, but just 28 percent from three.
Trevor Tiller leads three players in double figures at 13.4 points per game, followed by Cody Malicoat at 12.8 ppg and Tyler Rogers at 12.7 ppg.

Food Brings Hope is supported by a donor-advised fund committed to helping break the poverty cycle for homeless and economically disadvantaged children enrolled in Volusia County schools. The program achieves collaborative solutions for families with children that experience hunger due to homelessness, poverty, or unfamiliarity with community resources that provide nutritional assistance. They work closely with caring partners in the school district, social service agencies, and other friends who provide us with the benefit of their time and/or contributions.
