JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle women's track and field team completed competition at the UNF Spring Break Invitational on Saturday, hitting one national qualifying standard on the final day of the meet.
ERAU's 4x400m relay team of
Kristen Metcalfe,
Halle Green-Anderson,
Kandice Dixon and
Alana Bell was the bright spot of the day for Eagles. Despite missing several members of the team's top 4x400 squad, the four women still managed to post a "B" standard in the event with a time of 3:56.07, finishing third overall behind only NCAA I teams from Miami (Ohio) and North Florida.
The Eagles also had teams compete in the 4x100 and 4x800 relays. Both teams finished sixth in each event with times of 49.80 and 9:55.19, respectively.
The Blue and Gold will now prepare for its final regular season home meet of the year, as the team is set to host the ERAU Spikes Classic next weekend.
