ROME, Ga. – The Embry-Riddle men's tennis pair of Juan Ortiz Couder and Andres Donayre was unable to advance at the ITA Cup on Friday.
 
Ortiz Couder and Donayre went up against top-seeded Alvaro Regalado and Zach Whaanga of Columbus State in Friday's NCAA II semifinal round. Regalado and Whaanga took the first set 6-2, but the ERAU duo bounced back to win the second set by the same score and force a 10-point tiebreaker. The Eagles were unable to carry the momentum of their second-set win into the tiebreaker as the CSU team won that battle 10-4.
 
Ortiz Couder and Donayre will play for third place on Saturday.
