OTTAWA, Canada – Embry-Riddle track and field standout
Kristen Metcalfe will race for a Canadian national title on Sunday.
Competing at the 2018 Canadian Track and Field Championships, Metcalfe crossed the line in third place in her heat in 2:04.17 in the women's 800m run and her time propelled her into Sunday's final.
Metcalfe, who posted a time of 2:03.29 at the Music City Distance Carnival (June 1) and a 2:03 50 at the Portland Distance Classic (June 10) last month, will look to improve on today's semifinal time when she takes the track in the final on Sunday. The 800m final is scheduled for an 11:45 a.m. start.
