COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Embry-Riddle women's track & field team wrapped up the Carolina Challenge on Saturday. Ukeyvia Beckwith had the highlight performance of the day, breaking the school record in the indoor high jump.

Beckwith broke the record with a height of 1.66m, earning a second-place finish in the event. She was also part of the Distance Medley Relay team, along with Morgan Dudley, Alyssa Zack, and Anna Miller, that came in second with a time of 12:07.74, just missing the provisional standard by a few seconds.

A couple of other personal records were set on Saturday, as Nina Richardson clocked a personal-best time of 25.93 in the 200m, while Maggie Allen recorded an indoor PR in the 5000m with a time of 20:02.55. Grayson Iller also set a personal best with a 2:28.35 in the 800m.

"We had a really good day today with several people showing great improvement," Head Coach Mike Rosolino said. "I'm really pleased with the progress we are making. It shows that we have great potential for this season. The women's DMR was a huge improvement and great effort as all four ran substantially faster than 2 weeks ago. Ukeyvia's high jump was also a highlight today."

The Eagles will return to Columbia next weekend to take part in the South Carolina Invitational Feb. 7-8.
