DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle women's track and field team sent a small contingent to compete at meets in North and South Carolina on Friday and Saturday. 
 
Racing at the JDL DMR Invitational at JDL Fast Track in Winston Salem, North Carolina on Friday, the team of Ukeyvia Beckwith, Anna Miller, Morgan Dudley and Alyssa Zack competed in the distance medley relay. The quartet posted its fastest time of the year of 12:05.18, which was a provisional qualifying time.
 
Saturday's action saw Miller and Zack better their individual personal records in the 800m run at the USC Indoor Open hosted by the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina. Miller won her heat in a time of 2:18.49, bettering her previous best by nearly five seconds. Zack also won her heat, crossing the line in 2:22.02, which was four seconds faster than the time she ran at USC earlier this season (Jan. 18).
