DAVIE, Fla. – Another tournament is in the books for the Embry-Riddle men's golf team as the Eagles finished the two-day, three-round Shark Invitational on Tuesday at the Grande Oaks Golf Club. Embry-Riddle (301-302-295=898) shot its best round of the event during the final 18 holes en route to a 12th place finish.
 
For the second time this season, Ian Aldarondo (74-76-73=223) recorded the lowest 54-hole score on the team. A birdie on the last hole of the final round tied him with Georgios Pachiadakis for the most birdies (7) by an Eagle at the tournament.
 
Michael Faringer (74-78-73=225) started his Blue and Gold career strong with a second-place finish on the team. He matched Aldarondo for the lowest third-round score by an Embry-Riddle golfer and accumulated a trio of birdies in the first and third rounds.
 
Pablo Robles (81-73-74=228) settled in during the final 36 holes. He racked up 15 pars and a birdie in the second round for a total of 73 strokes, the fewest on the squad in that round.
 
Georgios Pachiadakis (73-77-79=229) tied his lowest round of the year with a 73 to kick off the tournament, which also matched the lowest round score by an Embry-Riddle golfer at the Invitational.
 
Also in his first tournament as an Eagle, Jacob Salazar (80-76-75=231) constantly improved by notching a lower score in each round compared to the previous one.
 
Additionally, Tyler Reese (86-84-78=248) participated in his first tournament of the season as an individual.
 
Barry (839) finished atop both the team and individual leaderboards. The Buccaneers' A.J. Ewart (202) was the top golfer of the three-round event. Lynn (845), Keiser (847), Florida Southern (852), and West Florida (855) completed the top five.
 
Embry-Riddle has one more tournament left on its fall schedule. The Eagles head to Winter Park, Florida, for the McDonough Cup on Nov. 1 and 2. The 2021-22 Embry-Riddle Men's Golf season is presented by Tijuana Flats.
