MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference announced its weekly award winners presented by Jimmy John's on Monday, and
Romeo Crouch was the recipient of the Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week award. This marks the fifth time Crouch has earned the award and is the second time he has won it this season.
Crouch was honored after recording 14 rebounds, six steals, and two block to go along with 43 points and 10 assists during a week that saw ERAU earn a pair of SSC road wins. The senior opened the week with 19 points to go along with five boards, six assists, and three steals in a 90-78 win at Rollins on Wednesday. He followed that up with a team-high 24 points and nine rebounds to go along with four assists, three steals, and two blocks in a 92-87 overtime win at Saint Leo on Saturday.
