SPARKS, Md. – Embry-Riddle Women's Lacrosse was featured in a national poll for the first time in program history on Monday. The Eagles are ranked 18
th nationally according to the USA Lacrosse Magazine Division II poll, which was announced on Monday.
The Eagles are 2-0 on the young season. Their record includes an upset of Mount Olive, ranked 14
th at the time of the game on Feb. 12.
Three other Sunshine State Conference teams featured in Monday's Top-20 ranking, including No. 8 Rollins, No. 9 Florida Southern and No. 17 Tampa.
Reigning national champion Lindenwood tops the poll, while Indianapolis, LeMoyne, Queens and West Chester round out the top five.
The Eagles will play their first home game of the season at noon on Saturday when they host Assumption at the ERAU Lacrosse Field.
