HUNTSVILLE, Alabama - Embry-Riddle baseball sophomore catcher
Jeremy Kennedy-Davis picked up another postseason award for his 2022 performance, earning National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association (NCBWA) Honorable Mention All-South Region accolades.
Kennedy-Davis hit .353 for the Eagles, slugging .545 with an on-base percentage of .434, all while playing a premium defensive position. He led Embry-Riddle with 55 hits, 12 doubles, and six home runs, driving in 30 runs and scoring 30 times. His 22 walks also paced ERAU, and the sophomore fielded .991 over 213 chances, throwing out 10 would-be base stealers. Kennedy-Davis registered 17 multi-hit games and eight multi-RBI contests, including a pair of games with four RBIs.
Kennedy-Davis is the sixth Eagle in the NCAA era to earn All-Region honors, and the first catcher to do so.Â
