GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle men's track & field team concluded competition at the Alachua County Collegiate Invitational on Friday.
The day began with the with
Aden Parsons notching a personal best throw of 10.63m (34-10.5) in the shot put.
In the 800m, the Eagles placed four in the top eight led by Jacob Fritz who finished first in 1:53.63. The next three Eagle finishers all recorded personal-best times as
Drake Stephan was fourth in 1:54.42, followed by
Kalel Duncan in sixth in 1:58.18 and
Vincent Brookins in eighth in 2:00.50.
The sprint events saw
Joey Johnson achieve a personal record of 7.05 in the 60m dash, while the 3000m run yielded personal bests for
Andrew Stowe (8:47.01),
Brandon Santangelo (8:55.45) and
Gavin Weinheimer (8:55.56).
The Eagles will be back at the Alachua County Sports Complex Feb. 2-3 for the Celebration Pointe Indoor Classic.
