2023 Track & Field Schedule Announced

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Mike Rosolino, head coach of Embry-Riddle's men's and women's track and field programs, announced the schedule for the 2023 indoor and outdoor seasons on Thursday.
 
The first three indoor meets of the year will be held in Gainesville, Florida at the Alachua County Event Center with the Eagles competing in the RADD Sports Invitational (Jan. 19-20), the Alachua County Collegiate Invitational (Jan. 26-27) and the Celebration Pointe Indoor Classic (Feb. 2-3). A small contingent will travel to Columbia, South Carolina for Embry-Riddle's only out-of-state meet at the South Carolina Invitational on Feb. 3-4. The Florida University Invitational (Feb. 9-10) and the Florida University Last Chance (Feb. 16) will give the Eagles will two more chances to qualify for the NCAA II Indoor National Championships which take place March 10-11 in Virginia Beach, Va.
 
As they transition to the outdoor season, both teams will be looking to add another Peach Belt Conference title to their respective trophy tallies. Both the men and the women will be looking for their fourth straight conference crowns.
 
Outdoor competition begins at home with the Eagles hosting the Embry-Riddle First Chance, Last Chance meet on Feb. 18. The Eagles will be away from the Embry-Riddle Track & Field Complex for the Tampa Classic (March 3), the River City Relays (March 16) and the UCK Knights Invite (March 24-25) before returning to Daytona Beach to host the Spikes Classic, March 30-April 1.
 
For the third year in a row, the Embry-Riddle Track & Field Complex be the site of the Peach Belt Conference Championships, which will be held April 20-21.
 
The Eagles will have two more chances to hit national qualifying standards at the East Coast Relays (April 28-29) and the Lee University Last Chance meet (May 13). The NCAA II Outdoor Track & Field Championships will take place May 25-27in Pueblo, Colorado.
