Flournoy Wins USTFCCCA South Region Male Field Athlete of the Year Honors

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Ryan Flournoy has added another accolade to his shelf as he has been named the South Regions male field athlete of the year. This is the second time he has won this award as he was the USTFCCCA Outdoor All-Region Athlete of the Year. Flournoy finished this season beating his own Embry-Riddle record in the javelin with a throw of 70.26m at the NCAA DII National Championship. This earned him First-Team All-American honors. He had four second place finishes and one two winning performances, one being in the PBC Outdoor Track Championship.
