GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Personal records highlighted the Embry-Riddle men's track & field team's performance at the two-day Celebration Pointe Indoor Classic, which concluded on Friday. Seven personal records fell on the track as the Blue & Gold closed out its third indoor meet of the season.
The first PR of the meet went to Walker Cowherd who bettered his time in the 200m, crossing in 23.29.
In the 60m hurdles, the Eagles posted three of the meet's seven fastest times.
Connor Page led the way, matching his PR of 8.89, followed by
Heinrich Adriaanse (9.05) and
Brandon Taylor who also had a PR of 9.28.
The 60m dash featured personal bests for
Revendy Paul (7.35) and
Brandon Taylor (7.44), while Page recorded his second personal record of the day with a time of 55.59 in the 400m dash.
The Eagles finished one-two in a photo finish in the 800m.
Jacob D'Aleo finished first in the personal-best time of 1:53.85, just slightly ahead of Jacob Fritz who crossed in 1:53.86. Their times are the third and fourth fastest 800m indoor races ever run at ERAU and the duo currently accounts for four of the five fastest indoor 800m times in program history.
The Eagles will be back in Gainesville Feb. 9-10 for the Florida University Invitational.
