DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – For the fourth year in a row, Embry-Riddle will host the Peach Belt Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the Embry-Riddle Track & Field Complex. The two-day meet begins on Thursday and will feature men's and women's track and field programs from six institutions.

Led by Head Coach Mike Rosolino, the Eagles are four-time defending PBC champions on both the men's and women's sides. Both teams are expected to make a strong push to defend their respective titles as several ERAU student-athletes are coming into the meet as the top seeds in their respective events.

The ERAU women have claimed the No. 1 seed in five field events led by
Sophia Gustely and
Mikaela Miles who have hit provisional qualifying standards in the javelin and triple jump, respectively.
Ukeyvia Beckwith will look to defend her league title in the high jump as she has the highest mark in that event so far this season. Beckwith is one of two Embry-Riddle women to achieve a provisional mark on the track this year and enters the competition with the fastest times in the 400m (55.50) and 800m (2:05.72) races.
Ariana Anderson hit a provisional mark and set the school record (10:46.78) in the Steeplechase and has the league's fastest 5000m time this season.

On the men's side, the Eagles hold the top seed in all sprint and middle-distance events led by newcomer
Adam Landen who is the top seed in both the 200m and 400m races. The only Eagle to hit a provisional mark on the track this season,
Bartosz Kwiecinski enters the meet as the favorite to win the 5000m.
Ryan Flournoy is favored to win his second straight PBC title in the javelin, while
Heinrich Adriaanse is the favorite to repeat as league champion in the decathlon. Both Flournoy and Adriaanse have recorded provisional qualifying marks this season.

PBC competition begins at 7 a.m. on Thursday with the running of the men's and women's 10,000m races.
