DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Track & Field Head Coach, Mike Rosolino, has unveiled the 2025 indoor and outdoor competition schedules for both the men's and women's teams.This year both track and field are a part of the Peach Belt Conference and for the first year outdoor track will also be a part of the Sunshine State Conference. The Eagles will compete in a full slate of events, hosting four outdoor meets including two conferences. Both Eagles look to earn their sixth straight conference championships.
The indoor season will kick off and remain in Gainesville, Fla. at the Alachua County Sports Complex for all six meets. The season begins early with the Jimmy Carnes Invitational on January 17, followed by the RADD Sports Invitational (Jan 24) at the end of the month.
In February, the Eagles will compete in three events. The Alachua County Collegiate Invitational (Feb. 1-2) starts the month, followed by the Celebration Pointe Indoor Meet on February 7. The month wraps up with the Peach Belt Conference Indoor Championships on February 17, where both teams look to repeat last year's success as conference champions. The Florida University Last Chance Meet on March 1 wraps up the season except for the Eagles who have qualified for the NCAA DII Indoor Track and Field Championship on March 14 in Indianapolis, Ind.
After indoor action wraps up, the Eagles will shift their focus to the outdoor season, beginning with the Eagle Invitational at home on March 8. March concludes with the Black and Gold Invitational at the University of Central Florida Soccer and Track Complex in Orlando, Fla.
The Eagles will host the Embry-Riddle Running Elements Classic on April 3, followed by an away trip to the South Florida Invitational on April 11. The next big challenge will be the inaugural Sunshine State Conference Track Championships on April 19. in their first season competing in the SSC, the Eagles will host that meet, as well as the Peach Belt Conference Outdoor Championships on April 28.
The regular season will close out with the Lee University Last Chance Meet on May 9, before heading into post-season competition. The last meet of the year is for the individuals who qualify for the NCAA II Outdoor Championships.
With an exciting and demanding season ahead, the Eagles are looking for another year of strong performances.
